Job Type:Full-Time,NightShift
Under the supervision of an RN, performs telemetry monitoring.
Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
* Performs continual surveillance of multiplemonitors.
* Readstelemetry test strips and places them in the patient charts at requiredintervals.
* Identifiessignificant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.Identifiesandcorrects forartifacts.
* Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursingstaff.
* Tests equipment for proper working order. Reports equipment problems to supervisor.
